These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lang4Kids mobile application ("App") provided by Bryan's Bits ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute bespoke legal advice. If you have specific legal concerns, consult a qualified attorney.

1. Educational Use

Lang4Kids is an educational application designed to help children learn vocabulary in Spanish, Hindi, and Chinese. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.

2. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

Lang4Kids is designed for children ages 6 and up. Children must use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By allowing a minor to use the App, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Free Content and Pro Purchases

Lang4Kids is a free download with optional Pro purchases:

• Free access: The first five lessons for each language are available at no charge.
• Lang4Kids Pro: An optional paid purchase that unlocks all lessons beyond the first five.

Lang4Kids Pro is available as a monthly, yearly, or lifetime purchase, subject to the pricing displayed in the App at the time of purchase.

The lifetime option is a one-time purchase, not an auto-renewing subscription. Lesson content and audio are bundled for offline-first lesson practice. Purchases and restores require internet; access checks may require a connection, including for lifetime access.

4. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Monthly and yearly Lang4Kids Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Subscription prices are subject to change. You will be notified of any price changes through the App Store before they take effect.

5. Apple Billing and Cancellation

All subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat helps verify Pro access using purchase information. We do not handle payment card details directly. See our Privacy Policy for purchase-processing details.

To cancel a subscription or manage billing:

1. Open Settings on your device.
2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
3. Select Lang4Kids and choose to cancel or modify your plan.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period unless required by applicable law. For refund requests, contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Attempt to extract or redistribute the App's content (lessons, audio files, images) for commercial purposes.
• Use the App in any way that could harm other users, children, or third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including lesson materials, audio recordings, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Bryan's Bits. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal educational purposes. No ownership rights are transferred.

8. Availability and Service Changes

We strive to keep Lang4Kids available and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that any content is accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bryan's Bits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
